Can You Dig It?  Unearthing the Past:  A Simulated Archeological Dig              
Grades 6 – 8                                                                                  

A simulated excavation which is designed to challenge students to solve an archeological problem.  Students will attempt to identify a site, when it was occupied and who lived there.  During the “dig”, students will have the opportunity to become historical researchers and utilize critical thinking skills.
