Literary Savannah
Grades 9 - 12

Students will begin their field trip at Massie Heritage Center where they will learn about the early days of public education.  Next, they will set out on a walking excursion of sites which are significant in Savannah’s literary history.  Stops include the homes of Flannery O’Connor, Conrad Aiken, Colonial Park Cemetery, Mercer House, and others.
